ERIN SHIELDS AND DAVID SHENTON “SONGS FROM THE HEART” - The Dynamic Duo of Erin and David returns with a new show produced for our Canyon Sounds patrons that combines the beautiful voice of Erin with the amazing talents of pianist, violinist and arranger David, in an eclectic program that romps through the classics of musical history. From the elegance of 18th Century Vienna and the reverie of 19th Century Paris, to the glamour of 20th Century Hollywood and the excitement of Broadway, David displays his virtuoso piano and violin skills in a program that ranges from Rachmaninoff to Gershwin, always with a little musical magic thrown in. Erin draws from the Great American Songbook and features many of your favorite movie and Broadway show tunes, with just a little opera for seasoning. Enjoy Somewhere Over the Rainbow, My Funny Valentine, La vie en rose and Shenandoah. There’s something for everyone in this classy journey through the some of the greatest music ever written.
