Membership Benefits

Your membership contribution helps fill the gap between ticket revenue and the costs of presenting fine artists throughout the year, both in concert and school educational programs, and is tax-deductible.

Besides the satisfaction of adding to the quality of Gold Canyon life, it also brings you some important benefits to enhance your personal enjoyment of the fine arts.  These include:

  • “Meet the Artists” Receptions: These after concert socials, restricted to members, offer  the opportunity to meet and interact with the performers on a more personal and intimate note.

  • Discounted Individual Concerts and Season Subscription pricing.

  • Guest Passes:  Members who become Season Ticket subscribers receive two Guest Passes for a concert of your choice.  Use them to treat friends and family and spread the enjoyment of Canyon Sounds.

  • Your name in the season program.

  • Advanced invitation to special pre- and post- concert sessions with selected artists.

  • Invitation to Members Only socials.

  • Ticket Exchange: A Canyon Sounds ticket is always good for Council members. If, for any reason, you cannot make a performance for which you purchased an advance ticket, simply bring the unused ticket to the Gold Canyon Ticket Office  or to the box office on a concert night and exchange it for the concert of your choice, unless otherwise specified.

  • Ticket Contribution Privilege: If, for any reason, you cannot make a performance for which you purchased an advance ticket, you may “contribute” the ticket to the Arts Council for use in promoting Council activities in local schools and colleges. The Council will furnish you with a tax-deductible receipt for the original cost of the ticket.

  • A voice in Arts Council decisions.

  • Electronic delivery of the Council newsletter “Sounds of the Canyon.”

The Gold Canyon Arts Council is an IRS Sec. 501(c)(3) corporation.
